BRINGING THE COLLECTION TO LIFE
The design process kicked off with a meeting of the (jewellery) minds at Mimco’s Melbourne HQ—featuring Lisa, our Head of Design; Kerry, our Jewellery & Accessories Design Manager; Patricia, our Jewellery & Accessories Designer, and of course, the incredible Elle Ferguson.
We had the privilege of diving into Elle’s stunning vintage jewel collection, exploring and experimenting with her most cherished pieces while drawing inspiration from her love of travel.
After countless creative exchanges—including three in-person meetings, one video call, and a flurry of idea-filled emails—the 23-piece capsule was born.
Featuring unique details like vintage heart charms, colourful paracord, and handmade chains plated in 18 karat blackened gold—each style is thoughtfully designed to mix, match and layer in a beautifully curated clash. As Elle herself would say, “More is more. Wear what makes you happy!”

This unique colour is achieved using a hand-applied black lacquer for a vintage appearance. The labour-intensive process results in an exquisite finish, signature to Mimco.
