What are the Gala vegan bags made from?

Our Gala Collection was more than a year in the making. Our design and production teams searched for an innovative vegan option for months before finding the perfect material. The Gala collection is partly crafted in Italy using apple peels, discarded from the juice industry and rescued from landfill. The apple peels are then fused with other non-leather materials.

This incredible innovation led to a polished—and not to mention highly durable—finish that our iconic accessories are loved for.

Are vegan materials as durable as leather?

The complex process of creating the material used in our Gala collection means that we are able to maintain an extremely durable finish, similar to that of a leather bag. The material is also easy to clean and care for, which also increases the bags longevity.
