Resolution #2: Be more organised – or at least ensure your essentials have a place when you leave for work every day.
Dynamic, innovative and stylish might be just three traits that come to mind when you hear the name Georgia Zogopoulos (because you probably follow her on Instagram!). In 2017, Georgia started her very own PR agency, GGPR, and with that came the need to be extremely organised – Enter our new collection.
Georgia says: “MIMCO offers such beautiful staples for my work wardrobe! I love the Supermicra Pouch because it fits all of my make up essentials and has a secret section for my cards. The Phenomena Bucket is a great size for my laptop – and a spare pair of heels for when I have client meetings or showings to attend. Finally, my Cyber Loafers are perfect for when I’m on the go and want to wear flats, but still look and feel polished.”
How would you describe your personal style – does it differ in your 9-5 wardrobe?
My style definitely changes depending on my mood; I have a very relaxed, effortless side and also a more feminine, dressy side. I wear a lot of shirting, denim, vintage and like to invest in classic statement pieces. Working in Fashion PR, I am lucky that most of my wardrobe fits in nicely with work and play.
How do you stay organised?
With my GGPR client base, the ability to prioritise tasks and time manage is essential – I write a lot of lists, use my electronic calendar religiously and set reminders and goals. I start my week with a clear focus and schedule.
Describe a typical day at work for you?
No day is ever the same and I love it that way. My time is shared between writing proposals, liaising with different clients and the media, researching the market and seeking new talent, planning events, hosting press showings, reporting, styling photoshoots and the most consistent part: emails, emails, emails!
What are you most looking forward to in 2018?
I have recently started representing one of my favourite labels, so I’m really excited for that! I am also currently planning a quick week in blossom-blooming Tokyo, it’s been on my bucket list.
What’s your New Year’s Resolution?
My New Year’s Resolution for GGPR is to focus on nurturing the business and expanding the team in Melbourne. Personally, I’d love to make more time for exercise and last year I wanted to learn Greek but I started the business instead.. round 2?
