Many ways To MIMCO

If there’s one thing you need to know about our collections, it’s this: there are many ways to MIMCO. Be it mix-and-match earrings, detachable straps, interchange badges or scarves you can tie just about anywhere, we think there’s not much a great accessory can’t do.

We recently visited L.A to shoot with bonafide insta-babe Taylor Lashae, who styled our new collection alongside her signature cool-girl style—we’re certain you'll want it all!

Describe a typical day in the life of Taylor LaShae…

A typical day probably involves working! I seem to be a workaholic these days. If I’m not on a plane traveling across the globe, I’m most likely changing into what seems like hundreds of outfits and taking pictures in the sun. Tough life, I know.

What’s your favourite way to spend a day in L.A.?

I have such a long list of favourite things to do in L.A. but on top of the list is getting lunch at Messhall Kitchen then hiking up to the Griffith Observatory—and staring at that view! I’d also recommend going in the evening when the sun goes down, so you can look through one of the huge telescopes. I’m a major space nerd…so if you’re going to find me anywhere, it would be there.

How would you describe your style?

It’s completely all over the place. I dress for every occasion—and there is different occasions every day it seems! My go-to look is high waisted pants, a stretchy tight off the shoulder top, ankle boots and a hat. Preferably with red lips too.

When it comes to dressing up: Less is more or more is more?

MORE IS ALWAYS MORE. The end.

Accessory you can’t live without?

I can’t live without my rings; I actually feel naked without them. The harder question is gold or silver? That one still gets me, but lately I’ll go with gold.

Top MIMCO accessory pick from the shoot?

My favourite MIMCO accessory is without question, the Quartz Neck Scarf! I have tied it everywhere and it's just TOO cute: around my neck, around my bag, or in my hair to get my bangs out of my face. Can’t go wrong with it…I promise.
