The flickering lights & spinning carousels of Melbourne’s iconic Luna Park were the perfect backdrop to our latest after-dark moment. Opened just for our shoot, the wonderland of lights and sound that is Luna Park was just the setting for such a vibrant set of party accessories—and a Wild at Heart season.

Whilst on set, we asked the MIMCO campaign team and our muse Ruby Campbell about their approach to our new season.

What's your go-to accessory?

My go-to accessory is definitely hoop earrings. I love my gold hoops.

How would you describe your signature style?

It’s definitely about comfort and individuality. You’ll always catch me wearing sneakers and comfortable t-shirts or something to really show my personality in some sort of way.

What does being “wild at heart” mean to you?

It means you’re carefree. You’re following your heart, you’re doing what you feel is right and living with no regrets.

How has it been working with Mimcrew on this shoot?

It’s been super fun! The last 3 days we’ve gone to so many locations, there’s been so many different looks and the team has been really fun to work with. Yeah it’s been really fun and I’ve enjoyed myself.

What inspired the location of the shoot?

When we looked at the summer season we really wanted to use a location that was iconically Melbourne and talked to summer nights and fun, Luna park fitted the bill for a fun filled summer night. We were inspired by the lights and the retro feel of the park; it brings back memories from my childhood and the feeling of being free.

Favourite campaign look?

My favourite look is the “jumpsuit” look; I love how cool Ruby looks here. Our Romeo Heel talks to the ‘80s revival that is happening—especially when paired back with a metallic jumpsuit and our Slink or Swim Pouche.

What does being “wild at heart” mean to you?

Being wild at heart means being free and having fun both with fashion and with life, this especially rings true for the summer season.

What is your favourite party season trend?

I love the ‘80s trends that are coming through from the runway and on the streets. It feels glamorous with a modern edge. Statement earrings or oversized studs with a statement necklace talks back to this trend.

Favourite campaign look?

My favourite look is the black & white dress with our Oasis Drop Ear and Romeo Hardcase. It's a nod to the ‘80s trends that i love.

What does being “wild at heart” mean to you?

Being wild at heart means being free and living in the moment. To be spontaneous, have fun and enjoy the simple things in life!
